AT&T and T-Mobile announce Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Gear launch details

Verizon Wireless was first to bat and now both AT&T and T-Mobile have announced their respective Galaxy Note 3 release dates, and T-Mobile has revealed launch details for the Galaxy Gear smartwatch as well. AT&T on Friday announced that it will begin taking preorders for the Galaxy Note 3 phablet immediately ahead of the device's launch set to take place "around" October 1st. Where the Galaxy Gear is concerned, the carrier would only say that Samsung's new smartwatch is coming soon. The Note 3 will cost $299.99 on contract at AT&T, or $35 per month for 20 months with its new AT&T Next scheme.
